Brave The Times all set to rule the Coral Essex Vase 2nd Semi-Final

Competing in the second semi-final of the Coral Essex Vase are, Adageo Brae, Brave The Times, Carden Twilight, Mountjoy Orion, Rockview Sail and Victorino. The 575 metres flat race will be hosted at Romford on Friday, 7th December. Racing out of the red trap is, Adageo Brae, while racing in the striped jacket tonight will be, Victorino. The total prize money of the race is set at ?200.

The second trap of the race, Brave The Times, is backed by 11 to 8 odds for dominating the race tonight.

During November, Head Bound?s son won three out of the four outings, two of those were at Henlow while the most recent one was at Romford.

He landed the winner?s prize money of the Grade OR Bookmakers Midi Dup on 8th November, 2012 at Henlow over 550 metres.

The favourite entry raced in the blue of the second trap. He was very quick to race away from the rest of the lot and won by the impressive margin of four lengths.

Qualifying as the runner-up was, Westmead Aouita.

The Derrick Atkins trained then posted in a back-to-back by going all out in the Henlow Midi ? Dup on 15th November, 2012 at Henlow over 550 metres.

The most popular entry of the contest once again broke from the same blue trap. Brave The Times was leading soon and was quick to draw clear, making it to the other end of the wire in 33.42 seconds.

Missing the chance by seven lengths was, Booked In.

The three-year-old out of, Brave Pony, then failed to a fourth position on 19th November, but did not take very long to bounce back right into form.

He then was dominant in the second heat of the Coral Essex Vase on 30th November, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres.

Speed, rail side and the leading role were the main ingredients which got the fifth trap to the other end in 35.38 seconds. He cornered Ard Vark into the second while leading by ? of a length.

The second trap has suited the two-year-old since quite a while now and he will conquer through it once again.
